Supports the circumvention of copy protection SafeDisc (C-Dilla), Secorum, Laserlock, CDCOPS, StarForce, Protect CD, and many others. Used to emulate the SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD) layer.

DAEMON Tools enables you to create up to 32 virtual SCSI and two IDE drives, which can be used to connect the disk images. Virtual drives are typically used to increase the speed of data transmission, as well as to reduce the physical deterioration of media and playback devices.
